Use of cookies

In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are also stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the hard drive assigned by the browser you are using and send us certain information. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They are used to make the internet service as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and refuse to accept specific cookies or all cookies, for example. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all of the functions of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data produced by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and prevent Google from processing this data.

This website uses the following session cookies:

  • _gat alfred-mueller.ch (HTTP cookie) is used by Google Analytics to restrict the request rate
  • _gid alfred-mueller.ch (HTTP cookie) registers a unique ID that is used to generate statistical data about your use of the website

Session cookies store a session ID that can be used to assign various requests from your browser to the shared session. They are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Session cookies allow your computer to be recognised when you revisit our website

This website uses the following persistent cookie

  •  _ga alfred-mueller.ch (HTTP cookie, 2 years) registers a unique ID that is used to generate statistical data about your use of the website

Use of analysis tools

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (Google). Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed.

However, your IP address is usually anonymised within Switzerland/the EU/the EEA and only then transmitted to Google servers in the US. Therefore, Google will be unaware of your visit to this website unless you are logged into a personal Google account (Google account ‘myaccount’, YouTube, Google Maps, etc.) while visiting this website.

Google does not combine the IP address transmitted to Google Analytics by your browser with other data.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension ‘_anonymizeIp()’. This means that IP addresses are processed in truncated form, which prevents them being linked to a particular individual.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide the website operator with other services associated with website and internet use.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all of the functions of this website.

If you never want to allow Google Analytics, install the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics. Download: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
This website also uses Google Analytics to analyse visitor flows across devices, which is carried out via a user ID. You can disable this cross-device analysis of your usage in your customer account under ‘My data’, ‘Personal data’
